Spending averagely about 40 hours a week since a decade and a half and by using all his multi-faceted talents – today Shukoor is incredibly successful in building his vision of empowering people through technology. His records speak volumes about his achievement in terms of technology development, social service, companionship & leadership. He takes pride in doing many kinds of community services contributing about $ 1.66 million to various local and national non-profits/social organizations and faith groups.

Launching V-Empower Inc. wasn’t as easy job! Back then in 2000 Shukoor lacked the necessary connections to raise crucial venture capital – Over 60 financial institutions had turned him down.

He hung in there through the lean years when there were 12 quarters of consecutive losses.  His failures never hampered his plans – he refused to give up. And sooner things turned into his favor and his efforts started paying off! As of early January 2004, his company had enjoyed 14 straight quarters of 300% growth.  He has been instrumental in moving the company forward with renewed focus and innovation in the current difficult times.  During the 14th consecutive growth quarters he mentored 12 employees to branch out and become entrepreneurs themselves.

His company has always provided 100% health coverage to employees and their dependents. Shukoor is proud of the growth of his company today.
